My name is Chris, and I'm raising money for the Ashford and St Peters Cardiology Service. In July last year, at the age of 52, I began experiencing chest pain while walking upstairs and attempting to run. After being referred by my doctor, I underwent procedures at St Peter’s Cardiac unit, ultimately requiring a heart bypass at St George's Hospital at the End of October 2023. The care and support I received from ASPH was invaluable, propelling me on the path to recovery. I've taken on this challenge not only to aid my rehabilitation but also to raise funds for the ASPH cardiology unit, whose intervention quite literally saved my life.
